La Trobe University Graduations UnitConferring of Degrees, Diplomas and CertificatesA student is considered to have graduated when an award (degree) has been conferred by the University at a graduation ceremony (either attending or 'in absentia'). Testamurs (degree certificates) will not be issued until the award has been conferred. Students who have completed their course and qualified for an award will have a graduation information pack and 'Conferring of an Award' application form forwarded by post. It is essential that students maintain a current address with the University in order to receive information promptly.
