Conferring of Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates

A student is considered to have graduated when an award (degree) has been conferred by the University at a graduation ceremony or 'in absentia'. Testamurs (degree certificates) are issued after the award has been conferred.

Students who have succesfully completed a course and qualified for an award will have a graduation information pack and 'Conferring of an Award' application form forwarded by post. It is essential that students maintain a current postal address with the University in order to receive information promptly. Address and personal contact details can be maintained through student on-line or in person at your local student administration office.
