Variation of Enrolment

Changes to your unit(subject) enrolments are made via a Variation of Enrolment Form. In some courses you may be allowed to vary your unit(subject) enrolments using the web-based enrolment variation facility via StudentOnLine.

In the first instance all enquiries concerning variation of unit(subject) enrolments should be directed to your Faculty Office or your local Student Administration Office.

Change of Teaching period

If circumstances require you to change the teaching period of a unit(subject) you are enrolled in, (for example, from a February teaching period to a January teaching period) you are required to complete a Variation of Enrolment form. In this case, you need to discontinue your unit(subject) enrolment in the February teaching period and add the unit(subject) into the January teaching period. This will ensure that your enrolment record correctly reflects your study intentions.

Addition of a Unit(Subject)

Each Faculty sets deadlines for variations to enrolment that may involve the addition of a Unit(Subject) after the commencement of the teaching period, but prior to the Unit(Subject) Census Date. Enquiries regarding these important dates should be directed to your Faculty Office or your local Student Administration Office.

If you are receiving Austudy or a Youth Allowance, you should consider the effect of any variation to your enrolment on your eligibility and seek advice if necessary from the Financial Aid Office.
