Graduation: Testamurs (Degree Certificates)
Please note: Persons who owe money to the University are not entitled to have a degree or diploma conferred or issued.
Replacement Testamur
Replacement testamurs can only be issued if the testamur has genuinely been lost, stolen damaged or destroyed. Replacement testamurs cost $100, a statutory declaration must be signed and the damaged testamur returned (if applicable).

Testamur Never Received
There are a number of reasons why a testamur may not have been received (e.g. incorrect address details, outstanding monies, failure to respond to the graduation pack etc.).
Graduates that have never received their testamur should contact the graduations unit via email. Please include your student ID number, current postal address and title of the course you have completed.
Students who have discontinued honours and wish to obtain their bachelor degree should contact the graduations unit to ensure that they are included in the next University Graduation Ceremony round.
Testamur in a Different Name
Testamurs are issued in the name under which a person was enrolled - Current University Policy does not permit name changes when an award has been conferred.
