
Graduation: Testamurs (Degree Certificates)
Please note: Persons who owe money to the University are not entitled to have a degree or diploma conferred, issued or re-issued.
Please note: Replacement or re-issued testamurs (including those from antecedent institutions) will be issued in the approved format which is in effect at the time of application and a statement will be printed on the bottom of the testamur indicating the date that it was replaced or re-issued.

Replacement of Testamur
A Replacement testamur costs $100.
A testamur can only be replaced if the original testamur has genuinely been lost, stolen, damaged or destroyed.
Applications to replace a lost/stolen or destroyed testamur must be submitted with a signed statutory declaration (a pro-forma stat dec is on page 2 of the application form).
Damaged
testamurs must be returned to the University along with the application form.
Re-issue of Testamur due to Legal Name Change
A Re-issued testamur costs $100.
If you wish to have your testamur re-issued due to a legal name change you must submit the relevant supporting documentation (e.g. Marriage certificate, Change of Name certificate etc.) along with the application form and the original testamur.
Testamur Never Received
If you have never received your testamur please contact the graduations unit via email.

If the graduations unit believes that your testamur has already been issued you will be required to submit a signed statutory declaration (pro-forma is on page 2 of the application form) stating that your testamur has never been received.
Students who have discontinued honours and wish to obtain their bachelor degree should contact the graduations unit to ensure that they are included in the next University Graduation Ceremony round.
