David Ensor is Chief of Staff (External Affairs) in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor at La Trobe University.

 

David has broad responsibilities for supporting the development of strategy; major government grants; alumni; philanthropy; government relations and service business/ residential services.  He leads and manages key projects in support of the Vice-Chancellor and provides direct support to the Vice-Chancellor in achieving the Strategic Plan of the University.

 

David has held senior management roles at the La Trobe University, including as Vice-President (Operations), Project Director of the $280m Agribio research project, and at the Bendigo Campus, where he was centrally involved in establishing its Centre for Sustainable Regional Communities.

 

David has extensive project management experience in the local and international development sector.  He was Chief Executive Officer of a nationally recognised adult education NGO in South Africa, and was also Acting National Director/Deputy National Director of the European Union Parliamentary Support Program - a $60m international aid project within the new Parliamentary sector in South Africa.

David has been a member of:
