Vice-President (Operations) / Chief Operating Officer

The Chief of Staff (External Relations), Mr David Ensor, is responsible for: 

 

  • Leading and supporting the Office of the Vice-Chancellor (OVC) to initiate and drive the University’s institution-wide strategic projects, to source major external grants and philanthropic support, to provide high-level, professional support to La Trobe’s senior executives and to develop and maintain effective external relations with government, community, business and university sector networks.
  • Leading, supporting and representing strategies to manage the establishment of the University’s service businesses by working directly with the Executive Director (Service Businesses) to ensure the effective achievement of these Divisions goals & objectives as per the University’s Strategic Plan.
  • Planning, directing and ensuring the successful implementation and achievement of the relevant portfolio outcomes outlined in the University’s Strategic Plans.
