Smart Energy Management System
The Smart Energy Monitoring and Load Management System supplements embedded intelligence in smart (original or retrofit) devices and appliances with seamless communication and creates an ambient intelligence in user space.
This system can assimilate broad range of behavioural parameters and empower smarter context-aware devices which can adapt to behavioural patterns of users by anticipating requirements and responding with appropriate actions.
The technology can also enable negotiation and control the energy consumption of smart appliances by taking into account factors such as priority of tasks, user behaviour and real-time tariffs.
A specialised user interface, based on context-aware and persuasive software technologies, has been integrated to influence users to change their behaviour and encourage energy conservation, resulting in reduction of green house gas emission. The user interface offers graphical information about energy consumption in the building in a hierarchical manner and provides users and administrators the ability to drill down into detailed analysis of power consumption, load management and cost.
An advanced interactive display system employing touch-screen and remote control capability has been developed to enable users an easy way of access. The system can also be accessed from anywhere in the world via an advanced web-based interface, using PCs, PDAs, laptops, mobile devices, etc.
